Why you see no results or candidates

How results appear
Tegaria isn't a board you search by hand: the system automatically crosses published listings and searches and, when area and criteria fit, the card appears on its own — under your search if you're a tenant, under your listing if you're a lessor. When a new fit shows up, we'll notify you: no need to check every hour.
If you're looking for a room
"No results yet: they appear when a listing compatible with your search is published." Meanwhile, you can improve your odds:
- Widen the area. The smaller the area marked on the map, the fewer listings can fit. If you see "Your radar is off", you don't have an active search yet: create it first.
- Review budget and criteria with the "Adjust area or criteria" button. A very low budget or very strict requirements narrow the funnel.
- Make sure your search is published. A half-finished or deactivated search receives no results.
If you're renting out a room
"No candidates yet: they appear when someone publishes a search compatible with your listing." Check two things:
- That your listing is published. If its card says "Unpublished", nobody can see it yet — here's the fix.
- Your living preferences. Each criterion marked "Must have" or used to rule out reduces how many candidates can appear. That's your call — just know the filter really works.
If you passed on something you now want
Passing isn't final: the card is still at the end of your list and you can undo your opinion from its three-dot menu (⋮).
How long to wait
Fits depend on how many people publish in your area: busy areas produce them quickly; quiet ones can take days. Searching and waiting cost nothing, and the alert arrives on its own.
