Agreements and closing conversations

Every conversation ends

As soon as a match's chat has its first message, the card changes: "Discard" disappears and "We have an agreement" and "No agreement" take its place. They are the way to close the conversation once you both know where it landed, with or without a deal. You'll find them on the candidate's card, on their full profile and in the chat itself; swiping the card opens them too (right for "We have an agreement", left for "No agreement"). To use them you need a verified identity.

"No agreement"

If the conversation isn't going anywhere, tap "No agreement". The app asks you to confirm ("Close without an agreement?") and, once you accept:

• The conversation closes for both of you: no more messages can be sent, although the history can still be read with "Chat", and the card changes to "Ended".
• The other person receives a notification that there is no agreement.
• The "Ended" card stays on the board for 7 days and then archives itself.

That same dialog has a checkbox, unticked by default: "And don't suggest … to me again". If you tick it, they won't be suggested to you again, not even if the price drops. Nothing about that mark reaches the other person.

Regret it?

While the "Ended" card is still on the board, the person who said "No agreement" sees it with a button to change it, unless there's a block between the two of you:

• "Confirm agreement", if the other person had already said there was an agreement: the agreement closes right then;
• "We have an agreement", if not: the match comes back with your agreement proposal, and the other person receives it like any proposal.

The person who didn't close it has no such button. And once the card is archived, the closure is final.

"We have an agreement"

Closing with an agreement takes two:

1. One of you taps "We have an agreement" and confirms with "Propose agreement". Their card says "Awaiting confirmation" until the other answers. While waiting, the button they have left is "No agreement", which closes the conversation without an agreement.
2. The other person receives a notification, their card says "Agreement proposed", and on the full profile and in the chat they see the question "… says you have an agreement. Do you confirm?", with two options: "Confirm agreement" or "There was no agreement".
3. If they confirm, the agreement is recorded on both "Agreements" screens, the conversation continues there and the person who proposed it is notified. If they answer "There was no agreement", the conversation closes as "Ended" and the proposer is notified too.
4. If they don't reply within 14 days, the relationship ends without an agreement: the card changes to "Ended", nothing is recorded under "Agreements" and no notification is sent.

Confirming an agreement is final: it cannot be undone.

Once it closes, your listing or your profile hides itself

When an agreement closes, the listing and the search profile of that agreement hide themselves, because they've already found their match (an agency profile doesn't). On your board, its card says "Deal closed"; if you want to publish it again, you have "Unhide listing" or "Unhide profile" in its menu (⋮) — edit, hide or delete your listing.

The "Agreements" screen

In the app menu, next to "My reviews", you'll find "Agreements": your durable record. It's organised like your board: each of your listings or profiles on top, and under each one its agreements, newest first, with the closing date and the price the listing had at the time. The same listing can accumulate several agreements from different periods.

From each agreement you can:

• Keep talking: the agreement's chat stays open for the loose ends (keys, contract, moving in). Every message keeps it open; after 90 days without messages it becomes read-only, and the history can still be read.
• Rate the other party with "Rate landlord", "Rate tenant" or "Rate agency", during the 7 days after the closing — reviews.

Agreements don't expire: they remain even if the listing is deleted. If one of you blocks the other, the agreement's chat closes but the agreement stays visible to both. And if the other person deletes their account, the agreement is kept with their details anonymised and its chat no longer accepts messages.

Automatic closures

So nothing piles up forever, a match also closes on its own, without notifications, and its card changes to "Ended":

• After 30 days if nobody writes the first message.
• After 90 days without new messages in the chat.
• After 14 days of an agreement proposal with no reply (above).
