# Edit, hide or delete your listing

> How to change your listing, take it out of sight temporarily or delete it for good — and what happens to your candidates, your matches and your conversations with each action.

Everything happens from your listing's card on your board. The card's "More options" button groups the actions.

## Edit

Tap the listing's card to open it and change whatever you need (photos, text, conditions, preferences). Changes save onto the same listing: editing never requires paying again.

## Hide (temporary, reversible)

"Hide listing" takes it out of candidates' sight — for instance while the room is provisionally taken. The card switches to the "Hidden" tag and, while its 3-month window keeps running, "Publish listing" brings it back instantly and for free. Note the window doesn't pause while hidden. And if the listing had a [shared public link](https://tegaria.com/en/help/share-your-listing), hiding withdraws it: after publishing again you'll need to share it once more.

### What happens to your candidates and your conversations

**Hiding destroys nothing.** That's the deep difference with deleting: as long as the listing still exists, your relationships are frozen, not thrown away.

- **Your matches and live applications freeze.** They stop circulating and are shown as inactive, with the reason visible to both sides. Nobody loses their conversation.
- **If you publish again within 30 days, everything comes back exactly as it was**: the same matches, the same chats, with their history. Nothing to redo.
- **What you passed on does not come back**, and that's right: your "no" stands. A candidate you rejected won't reappear just because you hid the listing and published it again.
- **Your reviews are never touched.** And if the other side still had their window open to review you, hiding the listing doesn't close it.

**After 30 days hidden**, the frozen relationships are archived: the conversation is deleted and the card won't return even if you publish again. The listing does come back, and the system will bring you new candidates — but the old conversations are left behind. If you have a match that matters, publish again before that month is up.

## Delete (permanent)

"Delete listing" removes it forever: it disappears from the boards and can't be recovered.

**Careful if it's your free listing**: the account's free publication is used once. If you delete the listing that used it, the pass is lost — the next listing you publish will be paid. If you only want it away for a while, hide instead of deleting.

## Renew when it expires

Each publication lasts 3 months. When the cycle ends, the card switches to "Expired": if the listing is paid, the button offers to publish it again at its price; the free one pays no renewal — every 3 months it will ask you to "Reactivate for free".
