# Agreements and closing conversations

> How a match conversation ends with 'We have an agreement' or 'No agreement', what the other person sees, how to undo a closure made by mistake, and what the Agreements screen keeps.

## Every conversation ends

As soon as a match's chat has its first message, the card's buttons change: passing disappears and **"We have an agreement"** and **"No agreement"** take its place. They are the way to close the conversation once you both know where it landed — with or without a deal. You'll find them on the candidate's card, on their full profile and in the chat itself, above the message box.

## "No agreement"

If the conversation isn't going anywhere, tap **"No agreement"**. The app asks you to confirm ("Close without an agreement?") and, once you accept:

- The conversation closes **for both of you**: the chat becomes read-only and the card changes to **"Ended"**, without saying who closed it.
- The other person receives a notification that there is no agreement.
- The "Ended" card stays visible for about **7 days** and then archives itself.

Wrong button? While the "Ended" card is still visible, **the person who closed** can tap **"Undo"** on it: the match comes back, the chat reopens for both and no notification is sent. After that week, the closure is final.

## "We have an agreement"

Closing with an agreement takes two:

1. One of you taps **"We have an agreement"** and sends the proposal. They'll see "Awaiting confirmation" until the other answers (and can change their mind with "No agreement" in the meantime).
2. The other person receives the notification and a banner with two options: **"Confirm agreement"** or **"There was no agreement"**.
3. If they confirm, the agreement is recorded on both **"Agreements"** screens and the conversation **continues there**. If they answer "There was no agreement", the conversation closes as "Ended" and the proposer is notified.
4. If they don't reply within **14 days**, the agreement is recorded anyway, marked **"Unconfirmed"**.

Confirming an agreement is final: it cannot be undone.

## The "Agreements" screen

In the app menu (next to "My reviews") you'll find **"Agreements"**: your durable registry. It's organised like your dashboard: your listings or your profile on top, and under each one its agreements, newest first, with the closing date and the price the listing had at the time. The same listing can accumulate several agreements from different periods.

From each agreement you can:

- **Keep talking**: the agreement's chat stays open for the loose ends (keys, contract, moving in). After **90 days without messages** it closes on its own and remains as readable history.
- **Leave a review** for the other party, if there was a conversation — [reviews](https://tegaria.com/en/help/reviews).

Agreements don't expire: they remain even if the listing is deleted. If the other person deletes their account, the agreement is kept with their details anonymised.

## Automatic closures

So nothing piles up forever, a match also closes on its own, without notifications:

- After **30 days** if nobody writes the first message.
- After **90 days** without new messages in the chat.
